Preparing for Your Endocrinology Visit in Ankara

Good preparation avoids repeat tests and speeds up diagnosis.

Timing

Many hormone tests are most accurate in the morning after 8–12 hours of fasting; water is allowed.

What to Bring

• Previous blood results and imaging reports or CDs
• Pathology reports
• A full list of medications and supplements with doses
• Glucose meter, CGM reports or blood-pressure logs

Before Testing

Take your thyroid tablet after the blood draw; tell your doctor about biotin supplements, steroid creams or sprays and contraceptive pills; know the date of your last period.
